I hope you all had a wonderful time with family and friends over the March Break and an easy transition back to the school routine last week.
All of us in 3D jumped right back in to our studies.
We continued to focus on suffixes through our spelling practice. I hope everyone has been studying for this week's quiz. It is first thing tomorrow morning.
In Math, we are continuing with the study of measurement. We have been working with perimeter and will be moving on to area this week.
In Social Studies, we have been focused on learning about early settlers in Upper and Lower Canada. Students have been working hard on completing their journal entries and tri-oramas. Hopefully you have been able to access their video descriptions on Seesaw.
In Language, we have finished up our comparison of the novel and two movie versions of "The BFG". Students are now completing their reviews of their preferred version.
Hopefully you were all also able to participate in world "Earth Hour" activities at your homes on Saturday evening. We had our own successful "Earth Hour" Friday afternoon at Eldorado P.S.
